What it is for
Glass tumbled by the sea loses its clarity, and the colours it leaves behind are all one step toward white. That softening is the palette, and it reads as calm and worn at the same time.
Because nothing in the set is dark, the whole picture floats. It is the quietest palette on this shelf.
How it works
Pick greens and blues that already sit close together, then lift all of them toward white by the same amount.
Add one warm amber. It is the brown bottle glass in the pile, and it stops the set turning cold and medical.
Cap the darkest value at a soft mid tone. A black anywhere in the frame breaks the frosted effect instantly.
When to use it
Use it for calm, coastal, gentle and personal subjects: skincare, bathrooms, jewellery, a wedding piece, a quiet editorial page.
Leave it alone when something needs to be found fast or read from a distance. There is not enough contrast in the set to carry either.
Told apart from its neighbours
Spring Meadow greens lean yellow and look lit. Sea glass greens lean blue and look frosted, and the difference is obvious side by side.
Verdigris is the same green family with far more saturation and a metal underneath. This is glass, and it stays pale.

A black appears and the softness collapses. Say no black anywhere and cap the darkest value as a soft mid tone.
