So when Text to Speech reads a line wrong, say it the way it should sound and change it to the same voice here.

Does it change my accent or my language?

No. Voice Changer keeps the language, the accent, and the pronunciation of the recording, and changes only the sound of the voice. A British voice fed an American recording speaks with an American accent, so record in the accent you want to hear. It works in 29 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic. It does not translate. To change the words or the accent, write the script in Text to Speech instead.

Which voices can I use, and can I clone my own voice?

Record the lines yourself, or use any speech you have the rights to. The new voice is one of the 21 ElevenLabs stock voices, the same voices as Text to Speech, or a voice you designed with ElevenLabs Voice Design. George, a British storyteller, is the default. Through the API, the vsb CLI, or an AI agent, you can also name a voice you saved. Voice cloning is not available, so the new voice cannot be a copy of a real person's voice.

Upload one recording of speech, up to 5 minutes and 200 MB. For a longer piece, like a full podcast episode, split it into parts of 5 minutes or less and change each one. Every voice in the file comes out in the voice you picked, so give each speaker a file of their own. The result is an MP3 in your library.

How do I get the best result?

Start with a clean recording. A quiet recording is harder to read, and a loud one can clip, so aim for a steady level between the two. Turn on Remove background noise when the recording has hum, traffic, music, or room echo under the speech. Be expressive, because the new voice copies the delivery, flat or lively. Try two or three voices on a short line before you change a long take.
