Question 1

What can I make with Recraft V4.1 SVG?

Accepted Answer

Vector art from a written prompt. Logo concepts and brand marks. Icon sets for an app or a website. Flat and detailed illustrations. Posters, stickers, merch graphics, and packaging art. Every result is an SVG, so it stays sharp at any size, from a favicon to a billboard.

Question 2

Is the output a real vector or a traced image?

Accepted Answer

A real vector. Recraft V4.1 SVG draws the file as shapes and paths from the start, not as pixels that are traced later. Zoom in and the edges stay crisp. Click a shape in Illustrator, Figma, Inkscape, or Sketch and it selects on its own, ready to recolor, move, or delete. The file also works as inline SVG on the web.

Question 3

How is Recraft V4.1 SVG different from Recraft Vectorize?

Accepted Answer

They start from different inputs. Recraft V4.1 SVG starts from a written prompt and draws a new SVG. Recraft Vectorize starts from an image you already have, such as a PNG logo, and converts it to SVG. Use V4.1 SVG for new artwork. Use Vectorize to turn an existing image into paths.

Question 4

How is Recraft V4.1 SVG different from the Quiver Arrow models?

Accepted Answer

Recraft V4.1 SVG takes a prompt and returns a new SVG at one flat price, so a detailed illustration costs the same as a simple icon. Quiver Arrow 2 also takes reference images, edits an SVG you already have, and animates one into a loop. Its price follows how much the model draws. Pick Recraft for new artwork with a designed look. Pick Quiver Arrow 2 to rework or animate a file.

Question 5

Can I attach a reference image or edit an existing SVG?

Accepted Answer

No. Recraft V4.1 SVG takes a prompt and an aspect ratio, and nothing else. To convert an image to SVG, use Recraft Vectorize. To change or animate an SVG you already have, use Quiver Arrow 2.

Question 6

What aspect ratios does Recraft V4.1 SVG support?

Accepted Answer

Eleven: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, 5:4, 4:5, 2:1, and 1:2. Use 1:1 for logos, icons, and stickers. Use a wide frame for banners and a tall one for posters and phone screens. The SVG itself scales to any pixel size.

Question 7

How do I write prompts that work well with Recraft V4.1 SVG?

Accepted Answer

Name the subject, then the style, then the colors, then the background. Words such as flat, minimal, geometric, and line art keep the shapes simple and easy to edit. Give the number of colors and name them. Make one mark per run, and repeat the same style sentence across runs so an icon set reads as one family.

Question 8

How much does a Recraft V4.1 SVG cost?

Accepted Answer

About five cents per SVG, the same for an icon or a dense illustration. Visual Sandbox shows the exact cost before you generate, and charges per file when the SVG is delivered. There is no subscription, no monthly minimum, and no top-up.

Question 9

Can I use the SVGs commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Recraft's terms give you ownership of the files for personal and commercial use. One limit applies: you may not use them to train AI models. You are responsible for the prompt and the final use, especially for logos that resemble real brands.
