What it is for
Angles read as strength and stability, because everything in the built world that holds weight is square. A figure made from rectangles looks immovable before it does anything, which is exactly what an action character needs.
How it works
Shapes are squares and rectangles with hard corners. The jaw is wide and the brow heavy. The chest and shoulders are enormous and the whole figure tapers down to small feet. The stance is planted with a low centre of gravity. The outline is thick and the shadow shape is angular.
When to use it
Use it for strength, threat and stubbornness. Avoid it for warmth or speed, because an angular figure cannot look either.
Told apart from its neighbours
Bean Construction is one curve and refuses the corner. Mecha Line is the same instinct applied to a machine. Funny Animal is usually built from circles instead.
