Early 3D renders and fractals, chrome type, and a much darker palette than the rave next door.

What it is for
Jungle and drum and bass arrived alongside cheap 3D software, and the flyers are a record of what a home computer could render in 1995: chrome spheres, chequerboard floors and fractals.
The darkness is the scene. Rave flyers are yellow and happy, these are blue and serious, and the difference told you which room you were walking into.
How it works
Render rather than draw: hard specular highlights, a chequerboard floor receding to a horizon, a chrome sphere, and a fractal in the background.
Palette is deep blue, purple and black with hot orange highlights. No pastels and no warm light.
Extrude the title in chrome 3D lettering with a lens flare on one corner. List the lineup in tight condensed sans in strict columns, and keep the low resolution digital artefacts in.
When to use it
Use it for a drum and bass or jungle night, a 90s night, a games event, a club night, a record fair.
Leave it alone for a daytime or family event. The palette is nocturnal and cold.
Told apart from its neighbours
Rave flyers are yellow, smiley and hand-assembled. These are blue, rendered and serious.
Y2K chrome is the corporate cousin, cleaner and glossier with white space.
Synthwave is a modern reconstruction with a sunset and a neon grid, not a chrome sphere.
Where it was used
Metalheadz nights at the Blue Note from 1994 and the big Dreamscape and World Dance events printed thousands of these. The aesthetic came straight from the demo scene and from whatever 3D package the designer had pirated.

The prompt
Replace the blanks with your own event, keep the rest. Then run it on an image model.
poster for <event>, mid 1990s drum and bass flyer, early raytraced 3D render with hard specular highlights and a chequerboard floor, a chrome sphere and fractal Mandelbrot forms, deep blue purple and black with hot orange highlights, chrome extruded 3D lettering with a lens flare on one corner, a starfield background, tight condensed sans for the lineup listed in strict columns, low resolution digital artefacts, <date, time and place> in a small clean block
What goes wrong
The model returns modern polished 3D. Ask for an early raytraced render from about 1995 with hard specular highlights and low resolution artefacts.
The second failure is a warm palette. Say deep blue, purple and black with hot orange highlights only.
Leave out
pastel colour, hand-drawn elements, warm light, empty space, soft focus
Watch for
It must look rendered in 1995. Modern clean 3D is the wrong decade entirely.
