Topaz Video Upscale is Topaz Labs' state-of-the-art AI video upscaler. Upload a clip. Pick 720p, 1080p, or 4K. Take old footage to a modern resolution. Rebuild detail that compression flattened. Smooth a choppy clip by raising it to 60fps. Sharpen a short film before delivery. There is no prompt. The source video is the whole input, so the result is the same footage at a higher resolution, not a re-render. Available in Visual Sandbox alongside advanced AI video models, so you can generate a clip and finish it in a single place. Common uses include archive restoration, phone footage, gameplay capture, product films, social edits, and finishing AI-generated video for a big screen.

Billed per second of output video, and 60fps costs twice what 30fps costs. Every run carries a small minimum charge, so the shortest clips all land at about the same price. Visual Sandbox reserves the longest clip the resolution accepts up front and refunds any unused portion when the upscale finishes.
Pick 720p for social clips and quick cleanups of small or heavily compressed footage. Pick 1080p for most delivery work. It is the default, and it is the right target for web video, ads, and anything that plays on a laptop or a phone. Pick 4K when the clip has to hold up on a television, a projector, or a large display. Higher resolutions cost more per second and take longer to render, so start at the resolution you will actually publish.
